To be able to join Tameside Divers you must be:
- 6 years of age or older
- able to swim 6 lengths (2 lengths freestyle, 2 lengths back crawl and 2 lengths of your own choice)
- able to pick up a brick at approx 1.5 metres although we can work with you on this !
- As a BSAC club we can only take scuba divers from age 10 years upwards
- All students must complete a basic snorkelling qualification before progressing on to scuba diving unless transferring to us with previous BSAC or Padi scuba diving qualifications.
Fees
- The first club session is free
- Then each session is £6 for a maximum of 6 weeks, at the end of which if you wish to continue attending the club you must join
- Club fees are £17 per month for Snorkelling and £20 per month for Scuba diving, payable on 1st of the month by direct debit
- BSAC snorkelling membership is an annual charge of £21 and Scuba Diving full membership £42 or Student/Junior Diving membership £33 See BSAC's website for details
